staying at the crown and trumpet inn was a delightful experience. the breakfast was a standout with a full english prepared by the friendly karen, featuring local ingredients. we enjoyed as much toast and tea as we wanted! the inn is tucked away nicely, just off the main street, providing a peaceful atmosphere.

the crown and trumpet inn is a real gem! the owner and staff were super nice and went out of there way to help us when my wife hurt her ankle. the food was just fantastic and not overpriced at all. location is great, just a short stroll to everything. loved the cozy vibe and charm of the place!

only downsides were that there ain't no onsite parking and it got a bit loud at night when the pub closed.

I loved my stay in the cozy king room. The decor is charming with exposed beams. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a fantastic value and delicious. The location is perfect for exploring local shops and cafes.

The king room was spacious and well-appointed, making our stay very comfortable. The selection of draught beers was impressive, featuring local ales that were refreshing and well maintained.
